Statement

DECLARATION PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

FOMO is a charity working for the direct benefit of the children and though we are very grateful of, and appreciate the help skills, knowledge a volunteer can bring, we feel that the volunteer must cover all their own costs and expenses. In simpleterms, money that is needed to support one volunteer for 3 months would feed all the 5000 children for a month.

We do need your skills and experience and if you agree to support yourself fully while in the service of FOMO, we would all gain from your help.

Things the volunteer need to cover:

      1. All transport costs to and from Mulanje, Malawi.
      2. Personal Medical insurance to cover travel to/from, and time spent in Malawi.
      3. All personal medical and dental requirements and expenses prior to travel and in Malawi.
      4. All food and drink while at FOMO

FOMO make a charge of £25 (approx. $35) per day per person . This charge covers basic shared accommodation, and utilities

As a volunteer you will want to do things to help, as these activities are not normally part of FOMO's budget, all volunteers are expected to show there commitment by fund raising for FOMO prior to travel to Malawi.

    Notes

        1. Electricity may not always be available.
        2. Food, normally imported foods i.e. coffee, cereal, water, fast food etc. is not included and should be purchased by the individual if required, in Blantyre prior to travel to Mulanje.
        3. Telephone and transport to be covered by the volunteer
        4. Beer, wine and the drinking of alcohol are generally discouraged.
        5. Smoking is completely banned at the centres.
        6. All terms and conditions may change from time to time.

I have read the above and agree to the terms and conditions Yes No
